For the Spring of 2022, I had the opportunity to intern for the Memorial Union - Event Management Office as a Special Events Intern.

In this position, I helped with giving wedding tours, helped out with weddings, ran the @muweddings Instagram page, etc. The best thing I did that semester was help plan the spring Wedding Expo event, which took place on April 24th. We had a total of 21 vendors (list provided in pictures below) and 265 attendees.

The number of vendors was close to doubling that semester. There were 12 vendors at the previous fall expo, and we were at 21 for the spring semester. We also had even more VIP attendees this year, with the VIP tickets just short of 100. The expo grew tremendously that year and will continue to grow! Our target market was engaged couples, couples in general, and anyone who wanted to network with vendors in the area. Our timeline for the event is included in the photos below.
